Once again, Bessans welcomes the legendary mass-start of La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin. Dozens of sled dog teams will be on hand to set off together: a unique experience!

For several years now, La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin has been the meeting place for the elite of mushers.
The mass-start on the vast plateau of Bessans is a must-see. The teams set off in a single line, with dozens of dogs stamping their feet, ready to fight it out to be the first to reach the end of the plateau.
This stage also passes through the neighboring resort of Bonneval sur Arc before arriving at the Col du Mont-Cenis, at an altitude of 2,000 meters.
A great spectacle, with free entertainment in the start village.
