Description

The space dedicated to the lakes and the leisure area of Bessans is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and have fun.
The Espace Ludi'lacs, as it is called, has undergone major work in recent years to turn it into a real aquatic area and thus strengthen the territory's summer tourist offer.
The facilities, intended for holidaymakers, but also for the inhabitants of the village and the valley, are close to the heart of the village and its shops and services.
The children's playground, tennis courts, volleyball and soccer fields have been renovated.
A "city-stadium" has been installed, with an artificial turf surface allowing the practice of soccer, handball and basketball.
The skatepark has been enhanced by an association of young graffiti artists from the village.
A few minutes walk or mountain bike ride from these facilities, visitors can discover the lakes of Bessans.
On the swimming lake, supervised every day in July and August, inflatable water structures are installed.
Around the lake, there is a beach volleyball court, a petanque court, as well as barbecues.
Another lake, maintained by the members of the "L'Arc supérieur" society, is a delight for fishing enthusiasts.
The Espace Ludi'lacs is also made attractive by the initiatives of several service providers to offer other activities (canoeing, paddle...).
In 2017, the Commune impelled the creation of a fast food point, with a stated desire to promote local products.
The area also includes the municipal campsite of Illaz, comprising 45 pitches for tents and 10 pitches with electric terminals for motor homes.
The Chantelouve mountain bike area is an extension of this, with a mountain bike park and cross-country courses. It was created under the impulse of the Community of Communes of Haute-Maurienne Vanoise.
