Religious heritage in Bessans

The jewels of Baroque art in the Maurienne region, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church and the Saint-Antoine chapel are treasures not to be missed.
Passion crosses, oratories and numerous chapels surround the village, signs of a religious fervor that is still very much alive.
In summer, with a little effort, you can attend the pilgrimages that take place every year on July 16 at Pointe de Tierce and August 5 at Pointe de Rochemelon.
