Set against the splendor and rugged beauty of the last high-altitude sanctuaries of the Vanoise and Grand Paradis, this film gives us the privilege of following chamois, eagles, wolves, and other creatures that share these territories.
Description
Set against the splendor and rugged beauty of the Alps’ last high-altitude sanctuaries, this film offers us the privilege of following chamois, eagles, wolves, and other creatures that share these territories.
From one autumn to the next, accompanied by minimalist narration designed to enhance immersion, we find ourselves side by side with wildlife in these mountains where snow and ice reign for several months of the year.
Balancing on the edge of life, the animals cross paths, hunt, draw on their ingenuity, and follow their instincts to face the greatest challenge of all: survival.
