Cross-country: Les bords de l'Arc
This magnificent loop offers the glaciers and waterfalls of the Bessans plateau, as well as an opportunity to enjoy yourself on the Bessans mountain bike fun trail.
Description
The easy tracks alternate between the left and right banks of the ARC. This is probably the flattest itinerary of the entire MTB area. You can have fun on the amusing trail featuring 8 modules to help you progress!
There's nothing hellish about this very accessible trail, so why is the village emblem of Bessans a devil with 4 horns?
In 1857, a dispute arose between the priest and a mischievous cantor named Etienne Vincendet, who was no doubt a bit of a troublemaker. He sculpted a statue of a devil carrying a priest off in his arms, and left it under the priest's window. The fact remains that this strange, 4-horned devil was to become the emblem of Bessans.
