Ice climbing initiation

Ice climbing is not just for the elite! All levels are welcome, from beginners to seasoned climbers!

Description

Activity proposed on the rock school of Barmettes, in Bessans. All levels.
On request, other waterfalls are available in Haute Maurienne Vanoise. Our guides will be happy to show you around them.
By finding the right place to start or train, you can avoid finding yourself in an overly impressive environment, and you can learn and progress safely, in a fun way. The Barmettes site is ideal for that! With routes of varying difficulty (from beginner to expert with mixed and dry tooling) and rock relays to climb assured from the top, you have the perfect environment to take your first steps in ice climbing or to evolve towards the higher level, always under the watchful eye of a guide who will advise you and ensure your safety.

70€/ person for a half day group (3h).

Harness, helmet, crampons, ice axes, ropes and belay system

Price does not include

cramponable mountaineering boots for hire from a sports store (Grosset sport or Sport Vanoise)
