Winter cani-hiking

Bessans
© Cani-hiking in winter with sled dogs in Bessans - Husky-Adventure

Looking for a unique experience alongside a sled dog? Equip yourself with a belt and a lanyard, then set off for a sporty moment of complicity with a canine companion specially trained for this activity.

Description

Have you heard of this winter activity?
The concept of cani-randonnée is simple and fun: you set off on a hike connected to a sled dog by an elastic lanyard, itself attached to the dog's harness.
It's a great way to discover the world of mushing, meet our group of Alaskan Huskys and other dogs, and learn more about their lifestyle, training and incredible energy. The experience takes place under the guidance of a passionate and qualified guide, for a safe and unforgettable adventure.
As you go along, you'll appreciate the strong relationship that develops with your dog, based on sharing, trust and complicity. Rest assured: the sporting level remains accessible to all, as the dog naturally adapts its pace to that of the human. What's more, the dog becomes a precious aid when the gradient is uneven, making the walk more fun, especially for children.
Much appreciated by the youngest, this activity also allows them to enjoy tender moments, with cuddles and caresses throughout the outing.
However, for safety reasons, children aged 7 to 10 inclusive, weighing less than 30 to 35 kg, must take part in the activity in pairs with an elder or an adult.
