International Marathon of Bessans (MIB)

The Bessans International Marathon celebrates its 47th edition. It brings together over 1,500 Nordic enthusiasts of all ages from all over Europe. Classic and freestyle races, wellness courses and entertainment. Marathon party in Bessans!

Friday, January 8:
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Bib pickup

Saturday, January 9:
8:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Bib withdrawal
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Village open
9:45 AM: Start of 15/30 km (handicap line)
10 a.m.: Start of 15 and 30 km classic (L0/L1/L2)
10:05 a.m.: Start of 15 and 30 km classic (L3)
12:15 p.m.: 15/30 km awards ceremony
11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Meals (extra charge)
1 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Number collection (children's events and Sunday race)
3 p.m.: 2 km start
3:30 p.m.: 5 km start
4:15 p.m.: 2/5 km prize-giving ceremony

Sunday, January 10:
7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Village open
7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.: Bib pickup
9:45 a.m.: Start of 23 and 42 km (handi line)
10 a.m.: Start of 23 and 42 km (Elite, lines 1 and 2)
10:05 a.m.: Start of 23 and 42 km (Line 3)
10:15 a.m.: Start of 23 km "Just For Fun
10:20 a.m.: Start of 10 km (Handi Line)
10:30 am: 10 km start
11:30 am - 3:00 pm: Lunch (extra charge)
1:30 pm: Prize-giving ceremony
