Bessans

Supervised bathing lake. The Ludi'lacs area offers you nearby: kayak, paddle, snack, pétanque area, beach volleyball court, barbecues and picnic tables.

Description

The area dedicated to the lakes and the Bessans recreation zone is the ideal place to relax and have fun, featuring a dedicated water play area.

Just a few minutes’ walk or mountain bike ride from these facilities, visitors can explore the lakes of Bessans.
In the swimming lake, which is supervised daily in July and August, inflatable water play structures are set up.

Around the lake, there is a beach volleyball court, a pétanque court, and barbecue facilities.

Another lake, maintained by members of the “L’Arc supérieur” association, is a delight for fishing enthusiasts.

The Espace Ludi’lacs is also made attractive by initiatives from various providers offering other activities (canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, etc.).

The site also includes the Illaz municipal campground, comprising 45 tent sites and 10 sites with electrical hookups for RVs.

Adjacent to this is the Chantelouve Mountain Bike Area, featuring a mountain bike park and cross-country trails. It was created under the initiative of the Haute-Maurienne Vanoise Community of Communes.
