Sensory Gymnastics
Similar to fasciatherapy, sensory gymnastics involves gentle, restorative movement of the fascia, helping to restore physical and emotional well-being.
Description
Sensory gymnastics is a gentle bodywork practice that mobilizes the fascia—the thin membranes that envelop and connect all the body’s structures: muscles, bones, organs, and tendons. A veritable living network, the fascia contribute to our mobility, posture, and internal perception. When they become rigid due to stress, fatigue, or repeated tension, this can affect our physical abilities and emotional balance.
Through simple, slow, guided movements, sensory gymnastics helps restore suppleness to this tissue, promoting physical comfort and well-being. The slow pace of the movements encourages us to tune into our senses and develop a more refined sense of body awareness.
