After skiing, you will always find something in Bessans to entertain or educate you. Every Sunday evening, a welcome drink is offered at the Espace Albaron so that you can familiarize yourself with the resort.

Every week, a varied event programme: films, conferences about mountain life, sport tournaments, special evenings about the Vanoise National Park, dance evenings, shows, concerts.



NURSERY "LES DIABLOTINS"

We welcome children from 2 to 8 years old who are either residents or holidaymakers, to the recreational " Albaron " Espace.

ICE-RINK

Natural ice-rink open from the Christmas holidays to the middle of March, situated in front of the Albaron (in the centre of the village). This ice-rink is lightened and surrounded by music.

Animations for everyone are organized.

Entry fee (valid for one day): 3€, ice skates to rent 2€.


SNOWSHOE TRIPS

The mountains during winter, above all else its the snow, the air and the great open spaces which are far from the crowds. . Snowshoe hiking is the ideal sport in order to discover and appreciate the mountains in complete serenity.

Come and discover hare tracks in the snow covered undergrowth, or furtively surprise the chamois and the Alpine ibex during hikes accompanied by a mountain guide.

MUSEEUM OF THE HABITAT

A genuine farm built three centuries earlier and preserved in the way it was with its furniture and objects. We can see how both men and animals lived together under the same roof, battling against the cold during severe winters.

Every morning at 09.30 it is possible to visit the cheese dairy. On the programme, the manufacture of Beaufort and other cheeses ( tomme de Savoie, goat's cheese, ... ).

VISIT TO A SHEEPFOLD

Throughout winter, visit the sheepfold and meet the ewes, goats and their young. Discover and understand the life of the herd throughout the seasons and observe the particularities of this agricultural activity in the mountains.

- From December 15th to March 15th : from Thursday to Tuesday at 17h30 and 18h30.
- From March 15th to March 31st : from Thursday to Tuesday at 18h00
- From april 1st to April 30th : Tuesday at 18h00
