By road.

From Lyon, take the RN6 or the motorway A43 towards Chambéry-Turin to Modane (Le Freney). At Modane, take the RN6 to the direction Lanslebourg. At Lanslebourg, D902, towards Col de l'Iseran, Bessans is at 14 km. Bessans is at 40 km from the motorway exit (Modane).

Price Frejus tunnel: 1 return way: 62.40 €
The pass of Iseran is one step of the Grandes Alpes route.

Important: the col de l'Iseran and the col du Mont-Cenis are closed in the winter.
